Glasgow 2014

Glasgow 2014 - 2nd August

Well it has been an eventful 10 days of action and mayhem. Updated are days 4 where we have added in the Rugby 7's followed by Day 5 and a marathon all of our own. Further updates to come but there is only so much typing a girl can do in one day and time has been of a premium. We are off to boxing and hockey later and England have managed to scrape into the final so lets see how we do against Australia this time.

We also now only have 6 days until our big day in Gretna and we have friends arriving from across the globe to celebrate with us there and then the following week back home in Cheltenham. We have jest watched the semi final of the netball where we lost by a point in the last 10 seconds.

Clyde has been out and about with us and there have been plenty of photo opportunities with the big Clyde's around the city and venues. We think we have seen the worst Clydesider jobs wiping sweat from badminton and netball courts but on the plus side you do get to watch the action. Miss O has been busy testing the Clydesiders knolwedge of bus and train routes and they have come up trumps with their assitance. Clyde our mascot is happier in the rucksack as it doesn't catch his hair and has been eagerly updating Wenlock and Manderville every evening. A couple of days of action left and then its off to the Lakes for a few days to relax.

Hope you enjoy the update here and on Day 4 and Day 5. More will follow...................

=====================================================================

Hi all,

This is a quick update and WOW hasn't time flown by. Since 2012 we have had a quieter period of time preparing for our forthcoming Civil Ceremony prior to which we are going

to the Commonwealth Games. We have managed a jaunt to Harry Potter world in Florida but sadly i am too old for Hogwarts so had to return home.

I have had to frantically try and remember the log in details for the site and as with all things technical the format and way you do things has changed. However I am back on and hopefully those who enjoyed the 2012 updates will also enjoy those from the 2014 Glasgow Games, our Ceremony in Gretna and Reception in Cheltenham.

We are I believe just about sorted and are off on our travels in the next few days.

Lara and Trudy have agreed to be our armchair pundits and as always any comments please visit our guest book and leave them there.

Sorry its a very brief update but lots of final bits and bobs to do.Lots of updates soon !!!!

We are quite amazed that we have had 24,635 visits to our page over the couple of years it has been up especially as we didn't do any updates in 2013.

Have a fabulous summer everyone.
