Thursday 2nd August

Day 6 – Well we have a nice well deserved lay in until 9am,
what a treat after yesterday’s marathon.

Sorry to our adoring public it has taken a little more time
than normal to update due to unforeseen circumstances.

Julie decides this is going to be a very blond, let’s lose
my brain kinda day.

Firstly she puts the kettle on or tries to but it won’t boil,
Miss O points out this may be because she has plugged the toaster in which
probably won’t boil. Miss O then pops round the corner to get bacon butties for
brekkie, a snip at just over a fiver for two!!!!

Today we are looking forward to a spa day, facial, massage
and bit of a swim and calm day.

We get to the tube station only for Julie to realise she hasn’t
got a bra on so has to wander back to pop one on (luckily it wasn’t Miss O as
she probably would have taken someone’s eye out.)

We finally board our tube and get to East Acton, the bus we
need takes a while so we end up late at Virgin Active, luckily the girls there
can re-book us for the 7th August at 4pm so we will now re-jig our
plans and go to the Ice Bar later today and also have bit of a wander round the
sights of London.

Although we (well, Julie hasn’t started the day well) team
GB has with another medal in the rowing, a silver in the men’s fours.

To Be Continued

Well we went to the coldest place in London...... Julie was happy!!!!!!!!!!!!  Have bought myself a new cheap purse which I have to say is a bit tacky not like my last DKNY one!!!  Bless the poor cyclists which got disqualified again the judges have not read the script you CAN'T DO THAT TO TEAM GB!

Anyway the icebar was cold........  and we met a guy in a local bar in Bayswater who is 21 and but for breaking his leg could have been in the boxing team!  We have tried to convince him to carry on...... trying for Rio!

Anyway found a fantastic happy hour bar well happy 3 hour to be exact!   London is so friendly at the moment which is quite unusual for London!

Looking forward to Wimbledon tomorrow hopefully Murray will be on centre court won't he.....  Team GB has done much better today you get 1 gold and then suddenly a load come along - just like the London buses!!!!!!!!!!!!!
