Wenlocks Adventures

Welcome to my page. As you know I am the mascot for the games. These two humans have bought me and I am now visiting and experiencing some of the action for myself.

I was purchased at the water polo venue, I didn't get too see to much as I was stuffed into the rucksack for most of the morning. We then went to the historic athletics for the evening where it was very loud, I was very excited but was quite pleased to be in the safety of the ruck sack on this occassion.

On the next day I had to stay at the apartment as I needed to rest and the humans were off to a bar and they thought I was perhaps not old enough to drink, this suited me fine as I was rathere tired from the previous nights excitement.

The next day I went to see some more athletics and then went to wembley to see some football.

Yesterday I went to see even more athletics and met someone called Lara and we had our picture taken together, I think she was a little awe struck to be meeting me.

Today we are off to the hockey so a new venue and sport for me to see.

It was very hot at the hockey today so I stayed in the shade of the rucksack for much of the afternoon, just popping out to have my picture taken now and again with the humans friends who wanted to meet me. After the GB game Miss O was none too happy for a while at the result but she soon calmed down. We went back and watched some TV and then tomorrow we are goinf for a meala nd then back to Wembley for more football. I read for a while before going to sleep, these kindles are a fantastic gadget.

Today we are going to a posh restaurant for a 5 course tasting lunch, I am quite excited as I have never been to one before. When we get there we get a nice table and the staff are very attentive. We have a gin and tonic to start and then order some wine but have some water as well. I try each course, pea custard, pear salad, lamb which was my favourite, a pina colada then chocolate brownies, followed by tea / coffee and petis fours. I think I have had a glass or two much wine as I feel quite sleepy. We then have to head off to Wembley again to see some football and it is quite an exciting match, I have some beer this evening and I am feeling abit wobbly. The humans said I should pace myself but I have been rather over excited this evening. When we get back I crash as I am abit giddy, the humans say I may have a hangover tomorrow but we have a quiet day planned so thats ok as I need to save my excitement for Saturday and Tom Daley. The excitement seems to be having and effect on everyone as even Julie's mum wants one of me so we have to buy another one on Saturday and send it off to her when we get home. I never realised how popular I am!!!.

Well my last couple of days were spent at the pub where we watched the action on TV. I think I had one too many as I couldn't face the canoeing on Saturday. We then went to watch Tom Daley in the diving, it was so lound I found it quite scary at times and I hoped the humans were not expecting me to go off that high board. It was a great evening though. On sunday I am being taken to the humans home where I am told there are 3 cats (not sure what they are), however when I arrive the choose to sniff me quite alot but luckily Saffy has not wanted to lick and wash me too much as yet. I think I will like living here and the humans say I can go to the Paralympics with them and they may then find me a friend called Manderville.
