Sunday 12th August

Day 16 - today is our last day, so we have to pack our bags and head home. We are up in good time and get packed and checked out of our home for the past two weeks.

We are looking forward to getting home to see the cats and also looking forward to coming back for the Paralympics in a few weeks.

We make use of the 1st Class lounge as we wait for our train and we get home about 4.30pm, unpack and get ready to watch the closing ceremony on TV.

We enjoy watching the ceremony and feel some what empty as the flame is put out. We have already registered for the Commonwealth Games in 2014, and agree going to Rio would be great but we may have to wait for another Olympics in Europe before we attend one again. The contenders we think for 2020 are Japan, Spain and Turkey so it is a possibility.

Julie is up for work tomorrow and Miss O continues with her school holidays. Ok for some.
